The other 1% - AMEX $4MM Gift Card Settlement Delayed

A Federal Judge ordered a delay in the class action Kaufman et al. v. American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. The case was originally filed in Northern District of Illinois (U.S. District Court). The Judge indicated in his Order that American Express should have came up with a better way of notifying potential Class Members, and therefore ordered the delay because only 1% of eligible class members filed claims pursuant to the settlement.
